Pricing

Build first. Stay if it pays for itself.

Every engagement starts with a fixed-price build. After that, most clients keep me on to look after what I’ve built and to ship the next thing. No lock-in, no retainer you have to argue your way out of.

Step one

Start with a build.

From $2k AUD · fixed price

Most automation and software builds land between $2k and $8k, depending on how much is involved. If the project is a fit, you receive a written quote within one business day of the discovery call and approve it before anything starts.

When the build is done it is yours. The plans below are how you keep it running well, not a condition of the work.

Every build includes

  • Scoped on a free discovery call, with a written quote before any work starts
  • Fixed price, no hourly billing surprises
  • Most builds are live in 2 to 4 weeks
  • 90 days of fixes included after launch
  • You own the accounts, the logic and the credentials

Allow for ongoing running costs

All prices on this page are in Australian dollars. Hosting, domain renewals, tool subscriptions and AI usage are separate from the build and support plans. We list the expected costs and who bills them in your written quote. AI usage depends on volume; the current guide is AUD $20–$200 per month at provider cost.

You keep the code and accounts if we stop working together. Any hosting and third-party subscriptions still need to stay active for the system to run.

Step two

Then keep it running.

Two plans, both month to month. Pick the one that matches how much you want shipped.

Care Plan

$390 /mo

Where most builds land once the 90 days of fixes are up. Keeps everything healthy so you never have to think about it.

  • Monitoring on everything I’ve built, with alerts when failures are detected
  • All bug fixes and break repairs when a tool or API changes
  • Dependency and security updates for custom software
  • Up to 2 hours a month of small tweaks
  • Same-day response, Monday to Friday

Not included: New automations or features. Those get scoped and quoted as small builds.

Pay yearly and get two months free ($3,900/yr). Unused tweak hours don’t roll over.

A build a month

Automation Partner

$1,950 /mo

A new automation shipped every month, plus everything in the Care Plan. Like a part-time ops hire, without the onboarding.

  • Everything in the Care Plan
  • One scoped automation or meaningful improvement shipped every month
  • A standing 30-minute call each month to pick what’s next
  • A quarterly review of what’s eating your week now
  • Priority queue, ahead of one-off projects
  • 5 hours a month of tweaks and adjustments

Not included: Large builds (over about AUD $3,000 on their own) are quoted separately, at a Partner discount. We agree the monthly scope together: for example, connecting an existing lead form to your CRM with a confirmation email.

Need more than a build a month?

I take on a maximum of two embedded partnerships at a time, so there's a real cap on this one. If you need a fractional arrangement, ask on a call.

FAQ

Common questions about pricing

Do I have to be on a plan?

No. Every build includes 90 days of fixes, and you own everything I build, so nothing turns off if you walk away. Most clients move to a Care Plan afterwards because it gives them ongoing monitoring and support, but it is a choice, not a lock-in.

What counts as a small tweak?

Changes that take under about 30 minutes: a copy edit, adding a field, adjusting the timing of a reminder. Anything bigger gets a quick quote first, so your tweak hours never get quietly eaten by a mini-project.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes, on the Care Plan: $3,900 a year, which works out to two months free. The Automation Partner plan is monthly.

What if a tool changes and breaks an automation?

That is exactly what the plans are for. Monitoring helps detect failures, and the fix is included, no per-incident invoice. Outside a plan, fixes after the first 90 days are quoted as needed.

Not sure which one fits?

Book a 30-minute call. We'll work out whether you need a build, a plan, or just a pointer in the right direction. If it isn't a fit, I'll tell you.
