Common outcomes

What a good website actually does.

  • A site you own, not one you rent.

Built on your own domain and hosting, in your name. No monthly theme or page-builder fees, no platform that holds your content hostage if you ever want to leave.

  • Fast, because slow costs you.

Lean pages and optimized media help customers reach the information they need. We check loading performance on the finished site.

  • Built to bring in work.

Every page has a clear next step, an enquiry, a booking, a sale, instead of a brochure that just sits there looking nice and doing nothing.

  • Connected to the rest of your business.

The same person builds your website and your automations, so bookings, payments and your CRM actually talk to each other rather than living in separate silos.

What I build

Websites that earn their keep.

  • Marketing websites

Fast, mobile-first sites designed around your offer and your customers, not a generic template everyone else is using too.

  • Landing pages + funnels

Single-purpose pages built to turn one kind of visitor into one action. Ideal for a campaign, an ad, or a specific service.

  • Rebuilds + migrations

Off WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or a page-builder. Plan content, redirects and search foundations carefully while moving to a site you can maintain.

  • Booking + ordering sites

Book, pay and get reminders, or order and check out, all on your own domain. Looks and feels like your business, not a bolted-on widget.

  • SEO-ready foundations

Clean semantic markup, structured data, fast loads, proper titles and a sitemap. The technical basics that let good content actually rank.

  • Ongoing iteration

The site grows with the business, the way it has for Just Dollars and Sense and Kenzi’s Photography across several years of work.

Hi, my name's Flynn and I run Kombi Camping. We're a Kombi hire business in South Australia, so we rent out Kombi vans that are fully set up for camping for people to take away on a holiday and we run that all over South Australia and mainly in the Barossa Valley. But we started working with Dan, we were trying to set up our own booking system, so we wanted to stop using a third party to get away from fees and things like that. So we hit up Dan and we got him to create our own software where we could run our own bookings and talk to our customers directly through there and no exactly schedule we were trying to get onto and everything like that. And working with Dan through that was super easy, the process was super smooth, it was really easy to communicate with and he did everything that we were trying to achieve. I would highly recommend Dan for using any of your website development or booking systems and things like that. But yeah, been working with Dan, it's been a pleasure and yeah, cheers.

Dan has created websites and automations for me since the beginning of my career in photography. He's mastered the art of creating something that just works. I wouldn't trust anyone else with this part of my business. Thanks Dan, can't wait to continue working with you in the future.

Hi, I'm Kenzi. I'm a full-time photographer, and I've been full-time for five years, but I've been in business for over ten years now. And with every change in the season and in my life, the one thing that stayed constant is Dan and his assistance with my website and my business in general. He's on top of the ball thinking about things in the back end of my website that I wouldn't ever consider. And, you know, that's such a blessing as a business owner because we have to focus on, you know, showing up in other ways and focusing in on our craft so that we can stay in business. And what happens is that he makes these changes before we even know that we need them happening. So thank you, Dan, for all your help. Thank you for, you know, just being on top of the ball with SEO, with my web design, with all the booking and payment systems. I would be truly lost without you. And for anyone listening, if you're looking for an IT specialist, I wouldn't recommend anyone more than Dan. Thank you.

Hi, guys. My name is TJ. I am one of the directors at Just Dollars and Sense. We've been working with Dan since about 2020, I think. Dan helped us build our website and has helped us do a couple of rewrites of the website as our business changed and our direction changed, and also helped us with a whole bunch of ad hoc tasks like landing pages, getting some SEO work done, and help us get more traffic to our website. We definitely wouldn't have a web page without him, so he's really helped us in that space. He's always been really great to communicate with, really great at talking through our vision and what we want and helping bring that into reality. So really grateful for all the work he's done and can highly recommend him.

FAQ

Common questions about web development

Do you build on WordPress?

Not by default. I build fast, static-first sites that are cheaper to run, safer, and much quicker than a typical WordPress and theme stack, no plugin sprawl, nothing to patch every month. If your situation genuinely needs WordPress I'll tell you, but for most small businesses it's more weight than the job requires.

Will it be good for SEO?

Yes, the technical side is built in: fast loads, clean markup, structured data, proper titles and descriptions, and a sitemap. I don't do dodgy link schemes or guarantee a number-one ranking. I give you the fast, well-structured foundation that lets good content and a Google Business Profile do their job.

Can customers book or pay on the site?

Often that's the whole point. Booking, payments and online ordering, all on your own domain. That work overlaps with custom software, so we scope it together on the call and build it as one connected thing rather than gluing a third-party widget on top.

Do I own it, and can I edit it myself?

You own the code and the hosting, in your name. For the content you'll change often, I set up a simple way to edit it so you're not messaging me about a typo. Nothing turns off if we stop working together.

What happens after launch?

90 days of fixes are included with every build. After that, most clients move onto a Care Plan ($390/mo) for monitoring, fixes, dependency and security updates, and a couple of hours of small tweaks each month. No lock-in, you own everything. The pricing page has the full details.

Need a website that actually brings in work?

30-minute call, no slide deck. We'll work out what your site needs to do, and whether a build, a rebuild, or a tidy-up is the right call.
